PHP is a server side scripting language which is used to create dynamic websites. For example when we build a login space on a website, then we use PHP to validate the login. Or when we display the text on the front end of your pages in the CMS pro pack, we use PHP to generate the final result.
As part of Web2.0 recommendations, CSS is used to give style to a web page. For example the colours, pictures and alignment that you see on this page have been achieved using CSS. If you are using Firefox you can check how the page will look without CSS; Point to View > Page Style and click on No style
mySQL is the database that we use when developing websites. SQL is the coding used to input, extract or delete data from the mySQL databases. For example, the text which is displayed using PHP comes from a mySQL database.
As opposed to PHP, JavaScript is a client side scripting language. To illustrate this, lets just say that PHP generates the XHTML data displayed on the browser and JavaScript is used to manipulate those data. For example you might have come across a cool sliding effect on our product pages. Well this has been achieved using javascript.
